What Have You Bought With Blogging?
Visited 865 Times Published by Rico October 1st, 2006 in Blogging and What.Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you… the Snack that Blogging Bought:
A pack of Ruffles, Sour Cream & Onion (my fave), 1.5 liters of coke, all costing Php 171.00 (around $3). I even had a guest over; Jayvee dropped by to do some work. His house still had no power or connectivity (thanks to Milenyo). Yeah yeah, it’s no biggie, but so what? What’s the use of wishing for a camera, car, or even a house, when it’s obvious I can’t afford ‘em yet?
Note the word yet!

At least you’ve bought something with blogging already. I haven’t started down that road yet. I will. Soon.
I think you’ll succeed if you play to your strengths, like writing about photography!
That’s a tasty snack you have there. Sour Cream & Onion is my favorite too but it makes your breath not so happy to others. Oh well, it’s all about us and what we enjoy, right?!
I don’t earn any money really with my site but for those on a budget, I did a post about the perfect blogger meal that I thinking adding chips and dip to would be really nice.
Ruffles Sour Cream & Onion and Coke… looks familiar.
In my house, its Country Pride Chicken Nuggets and 7Up.
Ice! One of the most sought after commodity
seanrox: Yeah, I know what you mean about bad breath, I taste the badness after I eat a pack, so I try to brush afterwards.
Are you talking about this post?
LJ: Yesh, you bought one for me rememba?
And how much are those chicken nuggets again?
Juned: That reminds me, I also had to buy ice pala! Php 15.00 ($0.30) for a bag.
Sour cream and onion chippies - my favourite! ^_^
Love the random Calvin and Hobbes toon
Hehe, I think it makes my point really well.
PhP150 my dear. A pack has about 2 dozen pieces. I just bought 2 packs today.
Hey, you said you’ll pay me back! Hihihi!
Hmmmm…. Can you get me one? And if you want, buy one more pack for yourself; I’ll also pay for it. I can still pay you back the money I owe you though.
Wait, how’d you encash a $3 check?
olats pare!!!!!!!!!
Syempre naman, I get more than that… and my employer wires it to my bank account.
No no, I wasn’t referring to the pay.. I was referring to the game
Ahhhh!!! Yeah.
Sure!
hmmm… can i drop by in March? will you serve the same food and drinks? love those!
LJ: Tenk you po!
AnP: Sure, as long as I can visit you guys too!
rico, nasurprise ako dun sa skyway story mo. that’s really scary. my brother’s really lucky.
hey dude, can u help me with problogging? kasi you guys are part of b5media right? but i don’t understand, how does one become a part of b5? from what i heard, most of your site hits come from there?
Hey Rick, thanks for dropping by. I’m not part of b5media, at least not yet.
Honestly, I don’t have that much experience with problogging. Sure, I’ve been blogging professional for about three months now, but I don’t have the wisdom of veteran probloggers. I consider myself very lucky to have entered problogging so quickly after my graduation earlier this year.
If you want to score a problogging gig, I’d suggest you regularly visit blog networks’ main blogs; as soon as new openings become available, they’ll announce immediately. And once you start composing that application e-mail, I think you’ll find this post by Darren Rowse very useful.
About my pro blog generating traffic for this blog, let me say that isn’t true. The only link to this blog is hidden away in my profile page, which many visitors hardly look at anyway.
That’s no problem for me, because I want The Smart PDA to be known as a helpful source of information on smartphones and PDAs, and not a marketing tool for Fool for Five.
