What Will 2008 Hold for the Philippine Blogosphere?
Visited 23123 Times Published by Rico January 1st, 2008 in Blogging, Internet and What.2008’s been great so far. At the very least, no more trouble with the roman candle.
What will the new year hold for the Philippine blogosphere? Will our audience grow, as more people go online? Or will some other form of new media overtake the blog’s current prominence? Only time will tell, dear readers, but feel free to share your predictions.
Personally, I think that, as Filipinos discover the affordability of setting up their own online soapbox, we’ll be seeing more voices out there. Surely, the number of local surfers will grow.

Happy New Year Rico.
One thing I’d like to see is more focus on good news (of course!) and learning. Less of personality controversies and bashing. More constructive articles and uplifting personal stories.
Great wish Jun! Perhaps if people focus more on the issues, rather than the personalities, this could very well be a reality.
Happy 2008 Rico!
Happy New Year AJ!
I agree blogging should focus more on issues rather on personalities but there could be good role model out there worth writin about. I think a good blog is something that the readers can learn from or something that will make us think or reflect. After all, according to one writer, an unreflected life is not worth living.
