Why Should You Go to COMDDAP Manila 2006?
Visited 344 Times Published by Rico October 25th, 2006 in Philippines, Tech and Why.For the low prices. Aside from the noble cause of promoting the local IT industry, most participants in the upcoming COMDDAP will offer their products or services with discounts. Look at the flyer I’ve made for Linksys; you’ll see you can save as much as 55%. And other companies like Canon, Nokia, Microsoft, and even Mobile Philippines‘ publisher, HIP, will be there.
So for anyone interested, I’ll be seeing you…
COMDDAP Manila 2006
October 26 - 29
COMDDAP Tent, Bonifacio Global City (AKA The Fort), Taguig
Oh, and did I mention that visitors will get to try out the latest gadgets? I plan to for The Smart PDA.
Tech Chismis: I was supposed to attend an exhibitors meeting this afternoon. But turns out it was nothing official; Microsoft was trying to use the convention’s name to get support for Vista, or so a little bird told me. ![]()

HURRAY!
See you tomorrow dood!
Am planning to but a pda phone for my wife.
My reason for getting her one is to
1. Replace her old small phone (I forget the model).
2. To give her a handy memo pad for reminders. - hence a pda.
She does not need 3G, camera, spreadsheets and complicated apps. Just a phone that can double as an automated pen and paper and can connect to her PC. And it has to be small.
What are my options?
Jed: Sorry madam, bukas pa ako dyan (assigned for Friday and Saturday)… see you tomorrow d00dette!
jun: The problem with a PDA Phone is that it’s expensive (at least the ones available locally), so if you really wanna do things cheaply I’d suggest you’d buy a Palm Z22 and the Nokia 1100. Both are reliable and easy to use.
But if you’ve decided money is no concern (but were not talking about breaking the bank here), you can get your wife a Palm Treo 650. It really is the best all-in-one gadget out there, fitting everything your wife will probably need into a small package.
Hope that helps!
