How Can I Download Videos From YouTube, Google Videos, etc? (Part 2)

I wrote a couple of weeks ago on how to download embedded videos, so that a new connection isn’t a prerequisite for enjoying them. To recap, all you need is to use Mozilla Firefox, then download its VideoDownloader extension. Now that you’ve saved that video of the Afro Ninja falling flat on his face on your computer, it’s time to watch it.

But first, you’ll need an .FLV player. You can get one from martinjndevisser.com. If you want to convert your .FLV, try TotalVideoConverter.

Edit: I’ve noticed in YouTube that you have to wait for the entire video to load before you can download it. The same may be true for other embedded videos.
