How Did Game 1 of the UAAP Season 69 Men’s Basketball Finals End?

To quote Wikipedia (a mixture of both another user’s and my description):
The game was close all throughout, with neither team leading by double figures. It ended in the fourth quarter with two crucial plays. With 4.3 seconds to go, Tigers forward Allan Evangelista made a tough shot over the outstreched arms of Doug Kramer, pushing UST ahead of Ateneo, 72-71, with 1 second to go. Ateneo coach Norman Black immediately called a time-out over the tumultuous din of the rejoicing UST fans. In the inbound play, Macky Escalona found a wide open Doug Kramer on the paint, and the Ateneo forward calmy banked the ball in for the win, sending the Ateneo fans in turn, into a wild frenzy.

I just hope Ateneo doesn’t become complacent. I’m sure UST will seek to avenge their heartbreaking loss this Thursday.

Gah. If UST loses in game 2, it’ll be the end of our friendship, Rico!
Only kidding, of course.
But — from what I’ve seen in game 1, if UST keeps it up — they’ll have a chance at becoming Champions once again. So, Ateneo’d better be ready. Muahahahaa.
That’s what I’m afraid of actually, that Ateneo won’t take advantage of the momentum they’ve gained.
And yeah, your best player wasn’t doing well during Game 1; let’s hope that’s not a factor this Thursday.
what’s with all the mumbo jumbo about getting complacent? The championship is in the bag. I just wish that it happened to lasalle instead of UST.
