What are My Top 25 Most Played Songs?
Visited 4824 Times Published by Rico December 18th, 2007 in Music and Rico's Ramblings.I’ve got no iPod, but since you’ve tagged, here you go Eugene! So I’ve followed the instructions:
- Take a screen shot of either your Top 25 Most Played / 25 Recently Played / Top Rated songs on your music device.
- Post them on your blog and explain yourself.
- Copy these instructions and tag 6 audiophiles to do the same thing.
Now it’s my turn!
Here’s the screenshot:

And here are the explanations:
- Let Your Game Speak – The Jordan XXI advertisement theme. So uplifting that I once played it repeatedly for an entire day
- Silence is Golden – Strong riffs! And it’s Garbage…
- Escape From New York Main Title – I still can’t believe my parents let me watch this violent cult classic when I was 10 (And no mom, it’s not dad’s fault)
- All I Do (Hed Kandi Version) – A great remix of a Stevie Wonder classic
- Syracuse – Pinback is like Blink 182 without the irritatingly whiny vocals
- Family Dinner – Parokya ni Edgar goes hardcore, covering a hilariously inane topic
- Baby Love Child – A surprisingly sweet song from the quirky J-Pop group Pizzicato Five
- Hot Tequila Brown – One of the many songs I like on Jamiroquai’s Dynamite
- Tits on the Radio – Scissors Sisters catches my attention with a hypnotic, 70s style bass line
- Say It Right - Timbaland’s backup vocals add great accents to this Nelly Furtado hit
- Twenty Zero One - More Jamiroquai, the best ending sequence I’ve ever heard Simplesmente – I can’t what Bebel Gilberto’s singing, but the song is soothing
- Maneater – Nelly Furtado’s incessant pop hit!
- Sugod – Sandwich goes full blast with their new frontman
- Ayo Technology – More misogynism from 50 Cent and Justin, but the geek in me loves the 80s video game sampling!
- Into the Void – Nine in Nails is weird. I like em!
- Village – Music from Diablo I, which is way better than Diablo II
- Teardrop – I like the beat of this Massive Attack song even before I discovered House
- Don’t You Want Somebody to Love – More catchy beats from the Boogie Pimps
- Elektronik Supersonik – By Zlad!
- Intro – From Diablo I again
- You Know My Name – Chris Cornell updates the James Bond franchise
- Androgyny – More Garbage!
- Get’Cha Head in the Game – I swear to God, it’s my nephew’s fault that this High School Musical song made it to my Most Played List
- Dynamite – The title track of Jamiroquai’s latest album

Yeah Jamiroquai!!! But where’s Color Me Badd?
Eugene: Just don’t repeat my favorite songs over and over again (unless you’re on earphones), because you’ll literally drive people crazy!
Sasha: Ask Iñigo!
Tj: Laos na ang Color Me Badd. But at least JT and AS made them cool again.
