Where Did I Spend the Last Weekend?

Why, in the beautiful White Beach of Puerto Galera of course! On the early morning of March 3, 2007, a group of eleven found themselves in a three-car caravan navigated by The Parodist, adroitly represented by Mr. SEO to a bunch of incessant ferry salesmen, cruising on a jury-rigged boat, walking around an island in search of lodging (a cross that blogging overlord decided to bear by himself) and finally settling down to have fun. All this thanks to Aileen Apolo’s insistence.
The funny thing was, despite spending two days in front of a fine white sand beach, and I never bothered to swim! In fact, only the girls (like Mrs. SEO) decided to enjoy the surf, eagerly posing for Abe’s and A Bugged Life’s first sultry photo shoot, showing off their sexy swimwear. I did get red as a beet though from walking under the tropical sun, since my white skin would rather get burnt than get any darker (grrr).
The Puerto Galera trip was really worth it, even if I didn’t get to take a dip. I finally got that well-deserved massage, got drunk because I didn’t have to drive home, and spent some quality time with good friends and loved ones. It’s been a while since I just relaxed and let the hours fly by, worring about nothing. And once again, I got to see first hand the beauty of the Philippines.

where? hmm… Summer 2005, Bora. I don’t count the one in Anilao kasi taga duon kami… hehehe! Was suppose to have a vacation at Pearl Farm last year kaso we learned that I’m pregnant, dami kontra bulate!
I’m from Batangas. Never been to Puerto Galera not even at Sumbrero Island which is very near our place! White sand din daw dun!
Next time sasama na ko talaga! We should plan way ahead to avoid conflicts. Especially the Boracay-Galera type. Hehehe.
mEldita: Ganun naman cguro ung taga-Aklan. Even if Boracay’s real close, I guess they don’t bother going there, since it’s so close.
And yes, you’d better get back to a beach soon!
