What’s a Thought-Provoking Writing Trial?
Visited 363 Times Published by Rico September 29th, 2007 in What and Writing.A Lipogram is a form of writing that prohibits a symbol or group of symbols. Such an approach is in play on this post; what’s missing is that fifth symbol most common in writing and talking. Do you know what I’m talking about?
Lipograms signify a good work out for your brain. Trying to fashion writing that John Q. Public can absorb without any confusion, as you avoid using illicit symbol(s), will push you to look at paths that, until now, you did not think was important. Avoiding what you cannot do and maintaining clarity insists that you rack your brain to churn out original inspirations, upping your writing ability as you find a solution.
This trial is particularly hard; that illicit fifth symbol is thought as most common in words. But finally I finish; that book full of synonyms was always in proximity. So was Microsoft Word’s “find” function.

Is this a challenge? hehe. :p
I’ll try to knock myself with this one.
*oh look, I just used a gazillion e’s! good luck to me*
This is such an amazing mind work out. Will try this out in a day or two.
benj: Haha! But you didn’t use a “B”, did you?
Ade: Good luck!
Bravo! I don’t think I can do that. I’m a chronic grammatical offender and have need of all the symbols of the alphabet. Maybe in the next lifetime that I’m going to try this out. I love my symbols.
Ade didn’t use E! haha
Will: Try it out! There’s always a way.
benj: Maybe unconsciously, hehehe.
